One-paragraph description
Stillock is an app blocker for iPhone and iPad by Yagiz Ada Umur, an independent developer in Türkiye. You choose the apps that pull you in, start a timed focus session, and Stillock keeps them blocked through Apple's Screen Time. In strict mode, Tag to unlock means the only way to end a session early is to walk over and scan your own NFC tag; any ordinary tag works, there is no gadget to buy. Stillock also offers Pomodoro, schedules, daily limits, a streak that forgives one missed day a week, weekly insights, a Lock Screen countdown, widgets and Shortcuts, with layouts for iPad and iPhone Duo, in 16 languages. It has no accounts, servers, analytics or ads, and nothing leaves the phone. Free on the App Store, with an optional Pro subscription.

- Focus sessions from 5 minutes to 3 hours, with a countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
- Strict mode: the session cannot be ended early.
- Tag to unlock: end a strict session only by scanning an NFC tag you keep in another room. Any ordinary NFC tag works.
- Schedules and strict schedules: work hours, bedtime, study time, on the days you choose.
- Daily limits: for example 30 minutes of social media a day, then blocked until midnight.
- Pomodoro cycles with breaks.
- Focus link: block a group automatically while an iOS Focus is on.

- Private by design: blocking is done by iOS, the app sees only encrypted tokens, and nothing is sent anywhere.
What strict mode can and cannot do
Strict mode stops a session from being ended inside the app, and Tag to unlock makes the tag the only early exit. Every session and schedule still ends on its own when its time is up, even if the tag is lost. iOS always lets a person remove all of Stillock's blocks by turning off its Screen Time access in Settings or by deleting the app. We say this plainly in the app, in the terms and in our guides.
